My babes

Brinley and Cruz are doing so good. They are healthy and strong and only an occasional cold. Cruz has his first bottom 2 teeth at 5 1/2 months and is eating solids now! He doesn't really care for it. He'll eat applesauce and rice cereal, and practically gag down veggies. He's always been a picky eater, he only wants mama! I don't mind though, it's special because I get to hold Cruz and bond with him, and in the big scheme of things, it's not that long.
Brinley is learning a new word practically everyday. She says "whoops sah-ee" for sorry. "Na-nye" for na-night. She recently started nursery and was doing so well going to class, she loved it! But the last few weeks when we start walking her to class she starts crying and not wanting to go. After we leave, she calms down and has a fun time. She is my little social bug! She loves little kids and gets so excited around them. She especially loves Cruz and hugs and kisses him ALL THE TIME. Every morning when she wakes up she comes to Cruz and says "hiiii bebe!!" And hugs and kisses him and snuggles a little bit. I love it!
These babies bring me the greatest joy. I love spending every single day with them.

Lady Luck

I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I am so thankful I get to stay home every day to be with my babies. They really are my joy.
Cruz is smiling and cooing now. His eyes light up when he sees me and that makes me feel so special! He's a Momma's boy!
Brinley loves to talk, and is learning new words every week. She knows how to say "dee-doo" (thank you-her favorite word) "no" (her other favorite word) "ruff" "puppy" "pooh" "hawye" (honey)(she try's to sing along to a Winnie the Pooh song, cutest thing ever!) "cheese" "mmmmm-num num num" "wow" "ow".
These babes are growing so fast and I am so grateful I can be here for all of it. I get the blessing of loving, teaching, and protecting them. (And I love it) but... I also get to change their diapers, feed them, deal with tantrums, dress them, pick up after their messes, do their laundry....the list goes on.... But it is SO WORTH IT! I really am so lucky and so blessed!

Baby Love

From the moment that Brinley met Cruz, she was giving him little baby kisses. She probably gives Cruz more kisses than she gives her momma and daddy combined! It's so cute to watch how much she adores her little brother. She points to him and says, "bee-bee?!" She's so sweet and so cute.

Cruz's blessing weekend

This weekend was so wonderful. It was filled with friends, family, and good food. My parents and Kendra, Karstens parents and Selene, and Sarah and Brolin, Christen and Jason all came over to help us celebrate Cruz's blessing.
It was so special to all be together in celebration of baby Cruz.
And Cruz did great! He actually slept during the blessing, which was a miracle. He cries when things aren't just right. And the circle included Karsten, Kevin, Keith, Brolin, Jason, And Kaleb. We are so appreciative of everyone's love and support on this special day!
